THE FLOWER SHOP

You are given a 1,250 sq. ft. retail space in a strip mall in Nocatee, Florida. Research the area, create a target market, and create a brand, store and products that will seamlessly fit into the area.

DESIGN STATEMENT

The Flower Shop is a high end florist located in Nocatee, FL that caters to both men and women ages 26 and older. The design is inspired by the freshness of flowers as well as the natural and simplistic beauty they hold. The use of the natural stucco walls, light grey concrete floors, and simple yet productive lighting makes the space fell light, bright, airy and fresh. The merchandise at the store is meant to be the focal point which is why the design of the store is so simple yet elegant. The large almost floor to ceiling windows flood the space with natural light paired with pendants, chandeliers, and track lighting to highlight merchandise.

DESIGN CONCEPT

Our goal at The Flower Shop is to provide a space for people to make their lives a little more beautiful, bright, & fresh! The open atmosphere invites all people inside to purchase and make beautiful creations to brighten their day as well as those around them.
